And We're not talking about a delightful hypothetical kid's television show where Grimace teaches geography. I wish I could sit here and tell you that was the case, as that show would be incredible. Alas, the real truth of the matter here is plain to see but difficult to think about: Just where did Grimace go?
Grimace was last seen on July 18th, 2012 at Dodger Stadium. He seemed carefree, doing his signature "Gimme Gimme" dance to Ram Jam's Black Betty. This is based on eyewitness accounts and the McDonald's Wikia, as no public photos of that moment exist. This may sound ridiculous at first, but we have a lot of proof. Are there dozens of separate, distinct, Grimace clones out there? This would explain a lot, including how Grimace used to have 4 arms and was evil. Was this just another Grimace, not an earlier incarnation? Another piece of support are several images we here at The GOFC have found of Grimace looking rather...odd. For the sake of journalistic integrity, we have included the most notable images below.
Scene. A cultural movement of sorts from the late 1990's to early 2000's of teens, mainly on MySpace, flaunting a unique look that involved dark colors with accentuated highlights. It's difficult to get a good grip on "scene" culture unless you have been immersed in it, which is why i'm finding it impossible to explain to you now. The best way that I can describe scene is by saying that it's really cool and very good. It truly is a shame that scene has gone out of fashion, because in my personal opinion, it was the greatest thing to happen to this country.
Now, my intrepid reader, you may be asking yourself, "What does this have to do with Grimace?" Well I'll tell you. Get ready for it. This is pretty exciting. Grimace may be a scenester. Woah, right! And we even have proof: |
